Benefits of Meditation
In today's increasingly fast paced and connected world, we are experiencing a constant stream of distractions and notifications that make it difficult to be in the present moment. You know, like how you're reading this but thinking about something else! We watch TV, while working on the laptop and replying to friends on snapchat simultaneously. We watch our sons softball game and order the week’s groceries at the same time. Constant multitasking is the norm with the insane conveniences at our fingertips! Very rarely do our minds get to rest. To take a second. Take a breath. Don’t get me wrong, the benefits of the internet and other technological enhancements are incredible if we can learn to harness them. If we can learn to not let them control us.
